Love Is Subtle Messages

It was The Daily Show's John Hodgman who once said "Love is... a quasimental illness prompting the bizarre sexualization of genital-free infants in a daily cartoon strip."
 
I'm not one to disagree with this assertion, in fact I would go further and say that these dainty little comics hold ugly and horrible truths behind their innocent facades.
 
Below are a few of the obvious interpretations...

It's a sad indictment of life that I looked at those pictures and thought "ooh, my other half would love those boots."
