Teardrop Covered By Jose Gonzalez

Yesterday the adoption agency came and spent a few hours at our house, investigating and interviewing us. Things went swimmingly and we're now approved for up to 18 babies with an annual interest rate of 1.3 babies.

As a toast to myself, here's ~~one~~ two of my favorite things in the entire universe exquisitely rolled into one.

The singer is Jose Gonzalez. Voice sound familiar? Remember the Sony Bravia commercial with the thousands of rubber balls bouncing down the streets of San Fransisco? Same guy and I love his voice.

The other favorite part is the fact that this song is a cover of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands, Massive Attack.

Yes, we proudly professed our atheism. The lady (who was a super awesome-grandma type) wasn't phased but suggested that we list ourselves as "no affiliation" to avoid scaring away potential birth-mothers. It's all marketing :)

I heart that song, but definitely like the original best. I've been known to watch House, just so I can hear the tiny bit they use as the theme song. Sad, I know. I take it you didn't let the adoption agent see your blog? That'd get you banned. Yikes, I might get my kids taken away just for reading! Really,though, I think that's awesome that y'all are thinking of adopting!

Ok, I guess I don't get it. And yes, Bob Ross is awesome. Isn't he dead? Wasn't it a tragic shampooing accident or something? No wait it was conditioner I think.
