Pepper Spray in Oregon

I am a police officer. This video makes me ashamed to be one. I wish these people were not in my profession. Now I wish I wasn't.

do you guys realize that if you were outnumbered 1000-1 you might start shooting pepper spray at the crowd? not to mention the cops are just doing their jobs its not their fault you liberals need to lay the fuck off you dumb fucks. We don't live in Nazi Germany, the angry crowds look more like communist Russia than the cops look like Nazi Germany go fuck yourselves liberals.

Now I can't say that I'm of the same political stripe of these protesters. But I do fully support their constitutional right to peaceful protest and peaceful assembly. One alleged bottle does not equal a riot with children being gassed. Remember the Branch Davidians? If they really wanted to peacefully arrest David Koresh, they would have nabbed him in town on one of his forays to purchase bullets or rock music. I would be interested to see if anyone has dared to bring suite to the organizations responsible for such public abuse as witnessed in this video. I would also be interested to know what charges they brought against the guy they arrested as the "Leader" of the protest, and subsequent discharge of their cases. I believe that it's all American's obligations to hold accountable such abusive behavior of governmental agents. This Video mad me sick and really pissed me off...

Wow. What a load of B.S. propaganda. Police record people for many reasons. There are people who show up at every and any protest and demonstration that they can just because they want to cause trouble. They use it as an excuse to fight, not because they care at all about the issue. The police are trying to identify these people so they can stop something before it gets out of hand. That first guy that the police pulled out - did you notice that we didn't see what actually started that? The camera wasn't on him. Who knows what happened there? That part about police pepper spraying babies - what irresponsible parent would bring a baby into this environment? They're the ones that should be criticized here. It's like those people who form blockades and hold their children in front of them and then accuse the police of traumatizing children. The narrator was so disgusted when the one officer is describing what they're going to do to the crowd - spray and push - but you also notice that the beginning of the conversation isn't shown and there's no time stamp on the video. For all we know he was giving instructions hours before on what to do in the event that there was a riot. She also referred to pepper spray as having the potential to kill people. Tossing a peanut at someone also has the potential to kill them but I think in general that's a very unfair statement. Do you know that before being issued pepper spray as a tool, police officers have to be sprayed in the eyes with it themselves? Same with tasers - they get shot themselves with those before they can use them. Would they really do that to their trainees if it had such a potential to kill people? This video did anger me. Whoever edited it with the Nazi crap and narrated it angered me. Would you rather have a police force who politely asked rioters to kindly tone it down a bit because they're afraid of being caught on tape showing any kind of force? And finally, if Guerrero Pacifico is truly a police officer (and I pray he isn't) he really needs to get a new occupation.

Just think what it will be like when they start implementing directed energy weapons for crowd control. I fear for our collective future.
