Photo Scavenger Hunt Smack Down

It's on.
 
Last year I held a photo scavenger hunt and it was a blast so I'm doing it again - this time there's even going to be a real, actual prize for the winner!
 
You've got 2 weeks to take pictures of the 9 items below, submit them to yours truly and post a link on your own site.

1. The Funk
2. Preparation
3. Battle
4. Polka Dots
5. Abandoned
6. Creepy
7. Quiet Place
8. Retro
9. Crowded

Submit (see below) all 9 before midnight CST October 28th to be eligible for the grand prize!!
 
Who:
Anyone. One entry per person please. GorillaSushi contributers may enter but are not eligible to win.
 
Pictures:
All photographs must be original. Picture Pirates will be disqualified and publicly embarrassed. Digital enhancement of pics is allowed but it's the photograph itself that will be judged. Hate, gore and other naughty stuff will not be allowed unless otherwise determined to be "super-hilarious".
 
Submitting:
There are a few ways to submit your pics...

• Email them to me (jason(at)gorillasushi.com)
• Post them to your own site/server and email me/comment with the links.
• Upload them to a photo-sharing site such as Flickr or PhotoBucket and email/comment with the links.
• Step up your stalker skills and deliver them directly to my door (while dressed like a cheerleader).

Please make sure that however you get me your photos, you label them very clearly with either the number of the item or the name (such as "Retro"). All submissions must be received before midnight CST October 28th.
 
Prizes:
First place  prize is a swanky new GorillaSushi dark t-shirt. Mens/womens, all sizes and choice of 8 different colors. A $20.99 value!! Any item of equal or lesser value from the store may also be substituted. A number of honorable mentions (at least 9) will be announced with a link to the owner's site.
 
Judging:
All judging will be done by me. Creativity, cleverness and interpretation are what I'll be looking for. You don't need to be a professional photographer with an uber-expensive camera that has like 5,000 buttons to enter or win. All entries will be displayed publicly on a special page (TBA).
 
Linking:
All contestants must post a link back to this post on your own blog/site. You can post a text link using the phrase "The GorillaSushi Photo Scavenger Hunt Smack Down" and the link pointing to this particular post ( http://www.gorillasushi.com/?q=node/546 ) or you can use of on these beautiful buttons below in your sidebar or in a blog post. However you link back, be sure and let me know where I can find it.
