PacMan Skull Sculpture

Last September I posted a little piece about a new exhibit by Hyungkoo Lee entitled Animatus, featuring sculptures of famous cartoon characters' skeletons and anatomical drawings.
 
Even more appealing to my aging nerd artistic sensibilities are these pictures from Le Gentil Garçon (via Kanardo).
 
"PacMan’s skeleton, conceived by Le Gentil Garçon, in collaboration with François Escuilié, palaeontologist, from the comparative observation of human and various predatory animal skulls. 2004, Resin, diameter: 65 cm."

I especially loved the tail bone. That means that prehistoric PacMan had a tail. He would have looked like a giant yellow sperm. How apres pos don't you think?

I like this one. Though the eye socket place needs a little work. Maybe it's based off the actual arcade pacman, and not the illustrated character that was always on a side of the arcade machine. Still pretty neat.
